The AC panel represents an industrialized EPS panel consisting of a two shaped sheets of self-extinguishing sintered expanded polystyrene, with a sheet of rock wool in between. The panel, the total thickness of which can be varied according to the project requirements, is reinforced with No. 2 electro-welded galvanized steel meshes composed of galvanized steel wires connected by means of steel through-connectors.
The product is suitable to be finished either with wet products such as plaster and cement mortar or with a dry system. In the case of dry finishing, sheet metal uprights mechanically fastened to the wire mesh of which the panel is composed are arranged on the mesh. The AC panel is used for the construction of curtain walls and partitions between housing units due to the wall’s remarkable thermo-acoustic performance.
